My Likes:
- Paper when it first comes out of the copier or printer and is still warm
- When boys (and small kids) giggle – not laugh, but giggle
- The feel of water pouring at half strength out of the faucet onto your hand like silk
- Reading a book for so long that afterwards you process your thoughts in the language of the characters you were just reading about
My Dislikes:
- Sitting next to strangers
- When people clap after movies (Who are ya’ll clapping for? The actors can’t hear you!)
- Hairy fruit
- Wine – I’ve tried but the teachers who tried to prepare me for wine at my First Communion scarred me for life

-Drinking something really cold in the morning and it’s the first thing in your stomach so you can feel it
-Puppies, they are so cute
-The smell of fresh laundry, especially warm towels when you get out the shower
-Reading a book for so long that you don’t want to put it down because you think you’re going to miss something (like it’s TV or something)
My Dislikes
-People who are evil for no reason…come on, give us a break
-People that talk at the movie theater to themselves, the screen, or their friends…it’s all wrong!
-Loud singers who can’t sing
-accidental farts…never pleasant

My Likes:
– The angelic look on my kids’ faces when they are in a deep sleep
– The sound of a brand new baby’s cry – it’s cute when it’s not yours
– The smell of clean baby (maybe it’s the baby shampoo)
– Ice cold beer – so cold it’s almost frozen
– The smell of the air in early fall (I’m outside now breathing it in)
My Dislikes:
– Wierd, unexpected chemical smells in enclosed places – like the smell of Tide in the very small elevator at work.
– Men that wear too much cologne
– People that don’t look you in the eye when they talk or when you are talking to them. Very rude.
– Birds and feathers (oh, wait, that’s my fear not my dislike)
– Nail biting in public – grosses me out
– People who give marital or parenting advice who have never been married and don’t have kids
