Kate's Point of View

The Product of Creative Frustration

You are not going to believe this

So I am sitting on the shuttle they use to take us from one work building to another, just hanging out waiting for folks to load the bus. And there on the corner is a girl with a sign.

The sign read:

I skipped school today
And this is my punishment
Honk, Please

Let’s discuss what all is wrong with this:

  1. The neighborhood I work in is moderately safe, which would imply it is also moderately unsafe … to send a young girl to go stand by herself in … on a corner
  2. Is it really ever appropriate to punish a female by making them STAND ON A CORNER
